Peter Mertes
The Peter Mertes Winery, a family-owned and run business rich in tradition, is located in Bernkastel-Kues, Germany, on the Mosel River. They use a blend of the regional star grapes, namely Riesling, Elbling & Silvaner which are perfectly adapted to the cooler climate and harsh conditions of the steep slopes along the Mosel river. These wines were among the first to be embraced by the British palate and have remained extremely popular for fans of off dry style wines.
